Austin Kino
A member of the Polynesian Voyaging Society, Austin Kino spends most of his days aboard the Hōkūleʻa, a beloved double-hull canoe, and home to years of manual navigation. Using the sun, the stars, and handmade instruments, Austin, and the Polynesian Voyaging Society traverse the oceans.
Both the Polynesian Voyaging Society, and Austin are deeply rooted in tradition, and heritage. Austin is ever conscious of his ancestors, and their customs. He enjoys mixing old with new, traditional dress, with a modern touch.
